I have followed Elise Flannigan for at least 4 years now, and she is always coming up with something new. As a blogger I look up to her, because she always has new photographs and new things to share and presents them in a clear, beautiful and interesting way. She is a trend setter and has a kind heart. As a business woman I look up to her because she has gone out there and made her life all about making things- she's successful at it and an inspiration to a lot of people.
As an artist, I look up to her because she stays true to who she is, she says she's always learning, she's not afraid to try new things and change how she goes about sharing her talents with the world (i.e. she was a scrapbooker and designer, then she went freelance, ran an etsy shop, opened a handmade store and now she is opening her second store which is a hybrid of handmade, vintage and cupcakes). I chose these photographs from her blog because they are recent and give a nice idea of what she blogs about- I didn't want to include much of her illustrations/designs because interesting thing number 1 is her, not her work (although her work is amazing too).
