Potato Prints :: My Prints!

Some of the prints we did today, we did on Sticker paper so we could use them as stickers for the back of the packets for our Manifesto. (Above was three separate prints, plain paper.)
We wanted to try different techniques of printing and as our characters are quite childish, we channeled our creatures and thought of the types of things they might do. Potato prints seemed an obvious and fun choice!

I'm really happy with these results, mine took a bit longer to make than some of the more simple ones, but I love how they really look like amoebas and the text 'Wise' and 'One' worked out well, I was a bit worried it might be too thin to print properly, but it's amazing what the ink picks up and doesn't. Just drawing into the potato with a knife affects the print. Definitely going to do this again at some point. Really like it. [:

You can see more of the prints our group made on the Group Blog, Amoibe.
